The New Zealand skilled migrant visa is being issued by the New Zealand government under the category of skilled migrants who wish to work and settle abroad. This visa category offers people with the relevant qualifications and work experience an opportunity to immigrate to New Zealand on a skilled migrant category. This type of visa operates on a points based system and it might be sometimes necessary for applicants to obtain or get a job offer from the employer. WORK EXPERIENCE: You will be granted points if you have the relevant work experience matching the occupation that you have nominated under the skilled migrant list for the visa. More points will be given if you have achieved more years of work experience.
However the eligibility criterion is also based on the points system. If the applicant receives the required points, then the applicant is eligible to apply for the visa.
