This type of a visa application is only open to applicants who have had a successful history of business investment activity and whose dream destination for immigration is Australia. As Australia is still a booming nation with comparatively very low population it holds many opportunities for people across the globe. The Australian business talent visa also is also a pathway to permanent residence in Australia. The application for this visa takes about a total of 9 to 12 months to process. This type of a visa has many qualifying criteria and requirements like-
1. Required Business Experience

The applicant should have business net assets of atleast AUS $ 400,000 ranging in atleast 2 of the 4 fiscal years.

The applicant must have personal and business net assets of at least AUS$1,500,000, which can be transferred to Australia within 2 years.

The applicant must obtain a sponsorship by the state or territory government member at a senior level.

The applicant should demonstrate the need to be in Australia to conduct or establish the business.

For at least 2 out of the last 4 fiscal years before applying, the business outside Australia must have had an annual turnover of at least AUS$3,000,000

The applicant must establish or participate in the active management of the qualifying business in Australia, and maintain a substantial ownership interest.

The applicant should not do any businesses in Australia which is not approved by the government in Australia and the applicant should agree to the laws and norms by the Department of Immigration to get their work monitored for a time period of 24 months after arriving in Australia.
2. Age & Other Criteria:
The applicant should be upto 55 years of age or younger at the time of making an application. In some of the cases applicants above the age of 55 years may be allowed to do business in Australia provided their business proposals are exceptional and hold an important place for Australian economy’s growth.
An applicant also needs to demonstrate that they are medically fit and sound by obtaining a health certificate from a certified doctor. Police Clearance Certificates should also be obtained from their residing countries in order to ensure that no pending cases are against the applicant in their countries.
