This business visa category is open to applicants who have done really well in their businesses and those who wish to immigrate to Australia to use their business skills to contribute in Australian economy. This visa is meant for those applicants who were at a senior level in a business and who intend to participate in the management & ownership of a business in Australia. The processing time of this visa is about 9 to 12 months and it is a clear pathway to permanent residency in Australia. The requirements of this visa are-
1. Business Experience:

The applicant should have had a successful business career;

The applicant should have personal and business net assets of at least AUS$500,000, which are capable of being transferred to Australia within 2 years;

For at least 2 of the 4 years prior to application the applicant must have occupied a position in one of three of the business' highest management levels,

The applicant should have been responsible for strategic policy development in a business with an annual turnover of at least AUS$50 million;

The applicant must have sufficient net assets to settle in Australia;

The applicant must have notified an Australian state or territory government of business intentions;

The applicant must have vocational English language ability;

The applicant must demonstrate the need to be in Australia to conduct or establish the business;

The applicant must establish or participate in the active management of a qualifying business in Australia, and maintain a substantial ownership interest.
2. Age: The applicant should be under 45 years of age at the time of lodging an Australian Visa application.
3. Health Requirements: The applicant must obtain a medical certificate after careful examination by a certified doctor for Australia which states that the applicant is perfectly healthy and sound and does not carry any communicable diseases which could pose a threat to people living in Australia.
4. Character Certificate: The applicant also must obtain a police clearance certificate which declares that the applicant is law abiding and there are no pending police investigation against him.
