There are many requirements and eligibilities that the applicant has to meet in order to apply for the Business Owner Visa. Some of the required things are given below-
Business Experience:-

The applicant to apply for this visa should have relevant business experience in his/ her business and should have a history of successful businesses.

Combined business and personal assets should have a net value of AUS$250,000, which should be available for the running of a business in Australia.

In two of the last four fiscal years the Australian business visa applicant should have had ownership in a qualifying business that has had a turnover of at least AUs$300,000.

The assets must also be available for transfer within two years after the visa is granted.

The applicant should also have sufficient financial resources to sustain them or their family and their businesses during their stay in Australia.

The applicant must not have been involved in business or investment activities considered unacceptable in Australia.

The applicant must have demonstrated that there is a need to be temporarily in Australia to conduct business.

The Australian business visa applicant must not have been engaged in a business where the provision of professional, technical or trade services took up more than 50% of their time.

The Australian business visa applicant must have notified the appropriate authority of a state or territory of their business history and intentions to develop a business in that state or territory.

The Australian business visa applicant must have a genuine and realistic commitment to participate, as a substantial owner, in the management of a new or existing business which will benefit Australia.
Other Criteria- The applying applicant should be of upto 45 years of age at the time of the application for the visa. The application also has to ensure and give evidence that they are in good spirits of health and possess a good character and no charges were against them by submitting a police clearance certificate. Besides, the educational qualifications and proficiency in English language is a must.
The duration of this visa is initially 4 years and later the applicant can apply for a PR or even a citizenship in Australia. The processing time for this visa ranges from 9 to 12 months.
